Simon and I went on a birthday adventure to Makara Bay, on the west coast of Wellington, at sunset. We didn't have a tripod, or a cable release but we had my camera and an amazingly clear twilight sky.

Bad Jelly...
a little bit of fashion fun I had a few weeks ago. Vintage treats, some original creations by Wellington designers, and jewels and trinkets by Madame Fancy Pants.

I gave Leith, my 6 year old sister, a green 35mm snapshot camera for her birthday, and this is what the little lady saw one weekend...
She told me how to photograph her and i showed her how to use film.
this is my little sister, at five and six.

a little bit more of East Africa...
these are a little different, they're taken on my Nikon D3oo.
The lower two are point and shoot style, but the top one is a portrait of a fine man we met in Zanzibar, the eyes hold the history
the always wonderful Whitney.
A box brownie with a few adjustments made so it takes my 120 400NC Kodak film.
A double exposure, to push this portrait idea a little bit further.
